Benzali showed up to work late every day. An hour late, Bochko said. And that's a huge problem on a TV show. These shows cost a lot of money, and it's a huge waste if they happen every day.

Benzali admitted that the problem was that he had a long commute ahead of him, but he couldn't leave the house until he had pooped. That was literally his reason. Breakfast Club became a classic example of 80s cinema and one of director John Hughes's most beloved films. Aside from the main cast, there are really only two other characters in the film. The main antagonist is the brilliantly played Principal Vernon, and the janitor, played by John Kapelos. His character doesn't do much in the film, but he does have a couple of memorable scenes. And the character almost went to Rick Moranis.

Herman had a contract with the show that prevented him from doing any projects outside of the show, and he had problems with that.

Herman wanted to do other projects, so he had to get out of his contract, and he did. He started doing table reads for the show, shouting out all his lines. And he kept at it until the producers got so tired of him that they fired him. He's since had a pretty successful career as a voice actor.

Actor Jay Thomas had a recurring role as Carla's boyfriend and later husband Eddie LeBec. The characters got married and soon after, the character was killed by a Zamboni. Richard Gere has been a pretty big name in Hollywood for years, even if we don't see him much anymore. And of course, Sylvester Stallone still is. In 1974, the two were cast together in the film"The Lords of Flatbush" However, behind the scenes, things were not going well.

According to Stallone, things were already a bit sour because Gere was taking the fight scenes too seriously. 3. Damon Wayans was fired from SNL for sabotaging the sketch

SNL has seen dozens of comedians perform as cast members over the years, and some have obviously lasted longer than others. Some leave the show on their own terms, but others are ruthlessly fired for going against the wishes of producer Lorne Michaels. Damon Wayans was one of those people.

Wayans starred in seven episodes of the sitcom. He was already having trouble with the way he was portrayed, not getting much work and being put in situations he felt were racially offensive, such as being asked to simply stand on stage in a thong while holding a spear.

In his latest sketch, a parody on Miami Vice , Wayans played a detective. Wayans said that after rehearsal, Michaels told him he looked like a pimp in a suit, he should wear a cop uniform. And that was it.

Wayans already hated the sketch, which he didn't think was funny, so when it came time for the live performance, he portrayed the cop as a flamboyant gay man, just rocking the entire stage.

After it was all over, Michaels fired him on the spot, which Wayans admitted was the right move since what he did wasn't funny, it was just out of anger.

The day after 9/11, which even if you weren't around at the time you might imagine, was a pretty damn serious day for people around the world. Brand showed up to his MTV performance dressed as Osama bin Laden, the al-Qaeda leader ultimately responsible for the 9/11 attacks and the deaths of 2,996 people.

Word is Brand was also on point, and he admitted to having had drug problems in the past, but the mixture certainly didn't guarantee him a job at the end of the week.

1. Michael Bublé was fired from The X-Files for stealing a hot dog.

Long before Michael Bublé was a flavored soda spokesman or a new crooner, he was an actor. Or at least, he tried to be one. The man had a failure or two that most actors avoid.

Buble starred in an episode "The X-Files" as an extra on a submarine. Not a big role by any means, but he was just trying to get a foothold in the acting world. He makes a brief cameo appearance, but he, too, was fired from the set. The reason? Stealing hot dogs.

Turns out craft services aren't for everyone all the time. There was a food table on location, and Bublé was hungry, so he grabbed a hot dog. But the table was reserved for the main actors, meaning the hot dog belonged to Mulder or Scully.

Someone from the craft services pounced on Bublé and even threatened to blacklist him from his career for his actions.
