The first performance starts at 11:00, the ice show will last until 17:00. The time before the start of the next performance is designed so that viewers can visit other places on Red Square and return.

Rinks


There will be only one skating rink on Red Square, but several dozen will be open around the capital. Incidentally, ice skating enthusiasts won't have to wait until the New Year – the main skating rink will open at the end of November, at the latest – at the beginning of December, so there will be plenty of time.

And it will work almost until the first days of March next year. The skating rink itself will be organized opposite GUM.

They promise that the first few sessions will be free (from 10:00 to 14:00). The attraction is open from 10am to half past eleven at night.. Paid sessions start from 200 rubles for pensioners, 500 rubles for adults and 300 rubles for children. Children under 7 years old are admitted free of charge.

These are the prices for weekdays, on weekends and New Year's days the price tag will increase slightly. Skate rental will cost 400 rubles for adults and 200 rubles for children (with a deposit). Skate sharpening is also available here for 300 rubles per pair.

New Year's Fair

Competitions


Every year the competitions on Red Square are different, but they are all dedicated to the New Year. As a rule, they are conducted by Father Frost and the Snow Maiden, but there may also be "civilian" hosts. These are thematic quizzes, magical "journeys" into the world of fairy tales, and so on.

Almost every competition involves awarding the winners.Both adults and children can participate in the competitions, but most often the theme is chosen specifically for children.

Prizes may include sweet chocolate sets, school stationery, children's toys or gift figurines. There are also tickets to New Year's performances or excursions around Moscow.

Consolation prizes are usually various fruits and chocolates. In any case, both the kids and parents will have fun and a New Year's fairy tale!

Concert


Russian pop stars to perform at Red Square concert venue, and it is possible that world-class performers will also be invited. The full list of performers will only be known by the end of the year, but the organizers promise that they have provided artists for all ages.
