5 Fashion Trends in Children's Clothing

As is known, children do not want to lag behind adults, and try to copy them in everything. First of all, this is clothing and style, so it is not surprising that children's fashion has become a separate segment of the fashion industry.

Designers have prepared their trends for children's fashion in 2020.

Trend #1: Military style

Designers are into military themes and colors with military-style cuts have filled the catwalks. Olive and khaki colors have come to the fore, camouflage patterns, large pockets, metal buttons make children's clothes not boring, and kids feel on the same wavelength with adults. Kenzo, Dsquared² or Gucci have examples of such clothes for children, but they have added yellow, green, pink, blue colors and various appliques to this style. Childhood should still remain peaceful.

Trend #2: Velvet

Velvet has become popular recently and continues to hold its position in children's fashion even in 2020. For girls, designers recommend laconic styles of velvet dresses. But, to be sure to look like mom, they also developed tracksuits, overalls, bomber jackets, skirts, and down jackets in this structure. For boys, there are suits and cashmere pullovers in combination with textured trousers. Fendi, Valentino, Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger and Lacoste best reflected this trend among their models.

Trend #3: Logos

Children are also very happy to take over various logos from adults, and over time this style began to belong to the younger generation. Large embroidery or pop-art appliques make the image bright, active, childish.

Dolce & Gabbana, Dsquared2, Gucci, Monnalisa and L'EREDE claim that you can decorate clothes, backpacks and handbags with all sorts of logos and inscriptions. Smileys and various faces from cartoons or advertising have become especially popular.

Trend #4: Floral Print

Designers have introduced floral prints not only into summer clothes, but also on jackets, hats, tights, floristry is welcome. Sonia Rykiel Enfant, Dolce & Gabbana, Baby Dior presented their ideas of this trend in their collections for babies.

Trend #5: Denim in all its forms

The denim style will no longer surprise anyone, but it will not go out of trend in children's fashion in 2020. It is inferior, perhaps, only to knitwear, but this is a useful neighborhood. Designers welcome denim skirts with jackets, shorts and pants with shirts. And to complete the look, they welcome abundant embroidery, various appliqués, patches and large logos. Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, Chloe Childrenwear and Armani Junior have developed the brightest lines of this trend.
