10. The oldest man on Earth
On February 12, 2020, Chitetsu Watanaba was recognized as the oldest man on Earth. At that time, he was 112 years and 334 days old. Chitetsu was born in Japan in 1907. At the age of 13, he worked in a sugar cane harvesting company. Watanaba fought in World War II. Returning to his hometown, he got a job in the civil service and worked there until 1974, after which he retired.
Titetsu was never idle. Together with his son, he built a country house and became interested in growing trees. He also had other hobbies, such as origami and solving math problems. The man spent the last years of his life in a nursing home. He could not lead an active lifestyle, and his health left much to be desired. After the recognition of the longevity record, Titetsu lived only 11 days.

9. Longest plank

He said that several years ago he had stood in the plank for 10 hours, but the record was not recorded. George decided to repeat his feat at a charity event for the military, but he could not, but he still broke the world record. The previous result - 8 hours 1 minute belongs to an athlete from China. 8. The longest track for Hot Wheels cars
Enthusiasts from Pottsville, Pennsylvania, built the longest track for Hot Wheels toy cars – 663.3 meters. This record broke the previous one – the creation of Mattel, the company that actually produces these toys. The car covered the track in 2 minutes 52 seconds. Its speed was 13.7 km/h. The number of road segments is 3,750. The road was designed and assembled by employees of a local engineering company, who were assisted by their children. According to the engineers, the goal of this record is to interest the younger generation in the exact sciences.
7. The largest exoskeleton in the world
Jonathan Tippett from Vancouver presented a giant robot with four legs, thanks to which he got into the Guinness Book of Records. It took the man about 10 years to design it, and only a year to assemble it. The robot is made of steel pipes that are used in the production of aerospace and racing equipment. The robot is controlled by two electric motors, it also has a heart - a set of lithium-ion batteries.

On February 1, 2020, the Guinness Book of World Records recorded the tallest snowman, which was made in the Riesneralm ski resort. His height is 38.04 meters. The snowman was named Risi, which means "giant" in German. He does not look like a classic snowman, this is a "slenderer" version.
Rizi was started to be made in mid-December 2019, in total it took about 800 tons of snow and 60 thousand euros. Of course, it was made using special equipment. The money for the snowman was donated by local tour operators and other sponsors. Most of the money was spent on renting snow cannons.
5. The largest mosaic made from recycled materials
The leading ecological complex in Adu Dhabi Masdar City has set a new world record. Not far from the international airport in Abu Dhabi, a large panel was installed - a mosaic made of recycled materials: cardboard, aluminum cans, plastic bottles. The number of elements is 90,500 pieces. The area of the mosaic is 1015 square meters. It was assembled by local residents, even schoolchildren took part.
The mosaic depicts the evolution of the UAE, and also features landmarks of the country. The aim of the event is to raise awareness around the world about waste, reducing its quantity, sorting and recycling.

And not in one, but in two categories. The first is "Largest Show". The pyrotechnic shells were launched from drones, their number was 173 pieces. Volleys were also fired from the ground (400 points).
A stunning spectacle: first, numbers appeared in the sky, then a cascade of fireworks. At the end of the show, the outlines of the most famous monuments in Ras Al Khaimah were created with the help of pyrotechnics. The second category is “The highest waterfall of fireworks”, 3.8 kilometers. The bright and colorful show could be watched for 13 minutes.
3. The largest portrait of Tutankhamun
An unusual event was held in Egypt. The organizer was the Ministry of Antiquities and Tourism. In Cairo, a portrait of Tutankhamun was laid out on the square in front of the Grand Egyptian Museum. Plastic coffee cups were used as the material, a total of 7,265 units were used. It took 65 kilograms of coffee, 3,000 liters of water and 1,000 liters of milk to prepare the drink. Time spent was 12 hours.
A representative of the registration committee said that several conditions had to be met. The area of the portrait was no less than 60 square meters, the coffee had to be of different shades. At the end of the event, the drink had to be distributed. The organizers did everything that was required of them.

Radomir Kazanbaev from Kazan got into the Guinness Book of Records of Russia as the youngest traveler. The boy was only two years old at the time, and he visited 11 countries in a month. Of course, he went on a round-the-world trip with his parents Rustem and Liana. The parents decided to apply to the Guinness Book of Records and it was accepted. The publication had never had such young record holders before. The necessary conditions that had to be met were to cross the equator twice, all date lines, and return to the starting point.
This idea came to Rustem and Liana when they were traveling around the Caucasus with their friends. The children were capricious, one family even had to drop out of the race. Radomir, on the contrary, was interested in the world around him. This is how the project "Around the World with Radomir" was born. Now the boy is the real pride of Kazan. The parents recorded the trip on video. They plan to save it and show it to their son when he grows up.
