DIY Christmas garlands made of coniferous trees step by step
You can choose New Year's garlands made of pine branches according to your taste; some will take just a few minutes, while others will take a couple of hours.
You will need an assortment of fresh branches, floral wire, cutting scissors, and some twine or similar wire.
- Gather green branches. These can be pine, fir, or any other type of evergreen tree. If you have a Christmas tree vendor near your home, there will likely be some branches left over. For a pop of color, you can take holly leaves and berries. If you plan to cut branches from trees, make sure you do it properly. Don’t cut down all the spruce in the forest, try to take branches that touch the ground.
- First, tie a loop on the wire or cord base. Then, using the cord, attach the first branch to the rope. Attach the branch along the rope and wrap the thread two or three times around the branch until you are sure it is secured.
