Here on the night from December 31 to December 1 there will be mass festivities with a show, fireworks and an ice exhibition. In the historical part of the city they start preparing for the holiday as early as December 20 and gradually ice figures, castles and fairy-tale characters begin to appear on Poklonnaya Hill. You can see them yourself and even take a few photos as a keepsake.
Ice Sculptures 2024
On New Year's Eve 2025, an ice sculpture competition is to be held on Poklonnaya Gora. You can see them on the main alley. "Ice Moscow" is a winter event that attracts Muscovites and tourists who want to get bright New Year's photos. The figures are so beautiful that you immediately find yourself in a real-life winter fairy tale.
You can visit the event in Victory Park, which occupies 2 square kilometers in the center of the capital. On Poklonnaya Hill, right on the eve of the holiday, an ice city appears, which is decorated with various ice figures. Ice for the figures is brought from the Arkhangelsk lakes, Baikal. Last year, there were more than 100 ice figures in the park.
Each sculpture has individual neon lighting that shimmers in different shades.
You can not only take a few winter photos, but also ride the ice slides, which are 14-100 m long. This entertainment will appeal to the little guests of the ice town in the center of Moscow. Adults can also take part in the entertainment and remember their childhood by riding the ice slide.

In the evening from 20:00 to 22:00, dance floors will be open in the park, where concerts will be held and music from famous DJs will play. Guests of Poklonnaya Gora will definitely not be bored here on the holiday.
You will be able to watch how the masters make figures from blocks of ice in front of the audience. You can try your hand at creating masterpieces. The park has attractions for children.
What else can you do to ensure a full rest on the occasion of the celebration:

In Victory Park you won't have to look for shops with food and drinks, because there will be kiosks with coffee, tea and fast food open on the territory. Alcohol will not be sold for safety reasons.
A New Year tree decorated with balls and garlands will be installed on the territory of the park. Many people who visited the festival last year said that the tree here is more interesting than on Red Square. The location also offers a view of Moscow. The location of the celebration is located at 11 Bratyev Fonchenko Street. On New Year's Eve, there will be festivities, a show, and an exhibition of ice figures on the mountain. You can get there by going to the Poklonnaya Gora metro station of the same name. There are different buses that go to this place. If you take the transport No. 91, 157, 205, 454, 474, 840, you will not need to change. You can get off at the stop of the same name.
People who have already visited the celebration in Victory Park advise not to come by car, as there simply won’t be enough parking spaces.
The Moscow Ice Festival is supported by the city administration, but the organizers of the festival decided to charge an entrance fee. The cost of visiting is 350 rubles — this is an adult ticket. Children's admission costs 250 rubles. Discounts are provided to those entitled to benefits. People in this category receive a discount of 250 rubles. If you come with children, be prepared to spend money on carousels, drinks, and snacks.
