In the modern world, it is impossible to imagine life without cars, because the roads are already overcrowded with them. This is especially acute for residents of megacities, who spend half their lives in traffic jams on the way to work or school. But among cars there are such examples that would not even fit on the road. But despite their dimensions, they do the work of ten, and sometimes even a hundred, smaller analogues.
#1: LeTourneau Road Train
According to traffic regulations, a road train is a car with one trailer. But history remembers cases when a road train pulled three trailers and was 140 meters long. Imagine such a handsome man somewhere at an intersection.
Such giants appeared thanks to the LeTourneau company, which helped supply remote places for the US Army in the 50s of the last century. Tons of cargo were placed on board by these super-cars. The LeTourneau LCC-1 road train model appeared in 1954 and consisted of a truck and three cars. For an unobstructed long journey, each wheel was equipped with an independent engine. In addition, the most powerful generator of the road train was located in the locomotive.
The military appreciated this experiment and four years later invested in assembling a new road train. This time, the TC-497 Overland Train Mark II model had 14 cars and a locomotive. The control cabin was located at a height of 9 meters from the ground. The total length of the train on wheels was 180 meters.
This masterpiece of the American manufacturer could carry 150 tons of cargo for 650 km at a maximum speed of about 32 km/h. After some time, funding for these mega-cars ceased and the cars became just museum exhibits in Alaska and Arizona.
#2: Liebherr T282B Dump Truck
Also, huge cars are used to work with rocks. Such giants can lift fossils from the ground and move loads of hundreds of tons. At the same time as such properties, the cars themselves also have quite a decent weight.
The German company Liebherr has released such a super-machine, the T282B model. The dump truck weighs 232 tons and has a 3650 hp engine and is capable of transporting 363 tons of rock at a time. The tank capacity of 4730 liters of fuel is also impressive.
The most load-bearing dump truck Liebherr T282B: height - 7.5 meters, width - 9 meters, length - 14 meters.
It is noteworthy that the wheels of this giant are made to special order over the course of a month and are always in short supply, as the set wears out faster than a new batch is released.
No. 3: Dump truck BelAZ 75600
In terms of load capacity, this dump truck is slightly behind the previous super-car on this list – BelAZ can only transport 320 tons of cargo at a time. But this does not prevent it from remaining the largest machine in the world.
BelAZ parameters: weight - 560 tons, length - 15 meters, tank - 4375 l., engine - turbodiesel with 18 cylinders Cummins QSK78-C with a volume of 77 l., maximum power - 3.5 thousand hp.
Such a mega-powerful engine works very loudly, which forces the drivers to work in special headphones to protect their hearing, as well as to maintain communication with colleagues.
#4: Terex 33-19 Titan Dump Truck
The heavy-duty machine was manufactured in a single copy in 1973 for work in coal mining quarries and open pits.
And for a long time it remained the largest vehicle in the world, until larger and more powerful candidates for this place appeared. The Terex 33-19 "Titan" today occupies the place of an exhibit in one of the cities of Canada in the open air.
Titan parameters: length - 20 meters, height - 7 meters, with unloading tank - 17 meters in height.
When actively used, this miracle of technology could transport 350 tons in one trip.
#5: Komatsu D575A-3 SD Bulldozer
The largest bulldozer in the world belongs to Japanese developers. In terms of lifting capacity, it is several times ahead of other standard machines of this type.
The record-breaking bulldozer performs its work at three speeds in both directions.

The owner of such impressive dimensions transports a weight of 345 tons, which is more than its own. But this quarry monster is also powered by the most capacious tank of 6800 liters. 
This dump truck makes it into the top ten due to its speed - 68 km/h, because with such dimensions you have to try hard to do it.
This bulldozer has become the most popular worker in quarries in the United States and other countries of the Western Hemisphere. The new improved model began to transport 363 tons of cargo in one trip, with the same weight.
#7: Goliath Excavator
The world's largest excavator Goliath can easily provide an entire city with electricity. In a single version, this mega-car works in a Canadian coal mine. The peculiarity of this quarry is that the useful ball for coal mining lies at a depth of twenty meters. The excavator itself breaks through the path to the rock and pulls out 48 thousand tons of soil daily.

Two machinists operate this machine, but a whole team of mechanics is assembled for maintenance and repair. The excavator cannot boast of its speed in movement, but this is not its main task. 350 m/h is enough for it to move. Another feature is the absence of traditional tracks; instead, two special skis have been developed.
#8: Mammoth LTM Truck Crane
Truck cranes solve the problem of transporting cargo over short distances. Standard truck cranes have low lifting capacity, although they are quite mobile. In Germany, they developed and released the Mammoth LTM truck crane, which is capable of lifting 1,200 tons 175 meters high in one lift.
Such stability is provided by nine pairs of wheels and hydraulic supports, which this type of truck crane is equipped with. But the downside of this auto monster is the preparation for work - specialists spend about 8 hours on this.
#9: Van Hall Special Vehicle
We have analyzed which giants move through roadless quarries and mines, but there are record holders who have been released onto the road. The largest passenger car was developed by the Belgians as a well-equipped ambulance.
In European and Middle Eastern countries, such vehicles are very popular. A stationary hospital on wheels, 18 meters long, can simultaneously accommodate 45 people on board.
#10: Bugatti Type 41 "La Royale" Passenger Car
Among the serial passenger cars, a rare passenger car, produced in 1927, stands out for its dimensions. Private collectors have only 6 copies of this vehicle.
